Get a flawless face — without breaking the bank
Written by Amelia Mularz
When I think of mineral makeup, I usually think of foundation and powder — two products where it really makes sense to go the natural route, so as not to clog your pores and to achieve that fresh, dewy complexion. But what about your eyes and lips? If you were trying to eat natural, you probably wouldn’t enjoy a salad of organic greens and then follow it up with a microwave burrito. Following the same train of thought, it makes sense that if you’re going to go mineral, you should go all the way. That’s why I love e.l.f. cosmetics, a beauty retailer with a full collection of mineral makeup. From foundation, to eyeshadow, to lip liner, e.l.f. will keep you natural from your first dab of primer to your last dollop of lip gloss. All e.l.f. mineral products are 100-percent natural and free of parabens, preservatives and chemical dyes. The light formula won’t clog pores, so there’s no need to feel guilty about applying full coverage. Not to mention, the price means you don’t have to feel guilty about investing in full coverage. Foundation goes for $5, eyeshadow is $3, and a kabuki brush, which sometimes goes for as much as $75 in other brands, can be had for as little as $5.

I am SO glad you featured this site. This is where I buy all of my makeup. Not only does it apply beautifully and it costs next to NOTHING, it is not tested on animals and is 100% cruelty-free. As a vegan, this is very important to me. Thank you so much for giving ELF some much deserved praise!

e.l.f. has amazing prices..I havent tried it but it does have bismuth in its products. which isnt terrible but for people with sensative skin or acne it could cause problems. A friend of mine from high school makes 100% all natural mineral make-up which is affordable and last a long time. I use it everyday and the powder last me at least 8 months and the brushes are the best I have ever found. they have tons of samples. its worth looking at its called Joppaminerals.com thanks
